WHEN TO TRAVEL

Follow the flow, not just the calendar.

The usual whitewater season runs from March to June. In some years July can also work, depending on water levels and rainfall. No dates guarantee runnable flows: we check current conditions before confirming plans.

July is conditional on water levels. Outside the usual season, ask us what may be possible—no paddling is guaranteed.

BEFORE YOU COME

Plan your river trip well.

We start by understanding your group, your equipment and the river conditions so the logistics fit the adventure.

Your experience

Tell us about your whitewater skills and group independence. We never promise a fixed river grade: difficulty changes with section and flow.

Your equipment

Each paddler brings their own kayak, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid, protective equipment and other suitable personal gear.

Weather & river safety

Flows, weather and access can change quickly. A section can be altered or cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.

Travel logistics

Share your dates, number of kayaks, airport and transport needs, meal plans and accommodation preferences for a tailored quote.

This service is for kayakers bringing their own equipment. An on-water guide is optional and subject to availability. We never confirm a river run before checking the conditions.
